Let’s start with prices. The median price of attached home sales in the first three months of 2014 was $550,000 while detached homes sold for a median of $899,000. Approximately 57 percent of the 1,057 home sales over this period were attached.

If you are looking for a home priced at under $600,000, you’re going to be looking at attached homes (Town Homes and Condominiums), there is a very limited supply of detached home in this price range. The good news it that there are many excellent attached living choices in Irvine.

Detached home prices start in volume at prices over $600,000 and you will find detached homes at prices up to $6.0 million.
