When you are touring between homes you know the physical details of a home (Size, Bedrooms, Baths, and List Price). But to truly understand what you can afford we need to know more than the List Price. The center piece of the Village of Woodbridge is the 57-acre lake which stretches from south to north: You can see the land plan image to the left. Click on the image to get more in-depth community information.
The lake is shown in green as it was viewed as an open space element by the planners. The lake is flanked with homes – in some cased you can have a home on the lake front, in other cases the home is back from the lake but with views looking across a lake front walk way. The walk way brings all residents down to the lake where they can enjoy the lake experience.
In addition to the lake there is 82-acres in private, neighborhood parks and a 51-acre community park. There are some 30 parks in Woodbridge, all with a different character; here you can find parks designed for families with young children and parks for adults. Something for every demographic. One large park on the lake is unique in having a swimming pool surrounded by a sandy beach and a sand volley ball court.

The schools are well located in respect to homes. Note how the road circulation works. Major streets carry the traffic in and out for the Village while neighborhood streets carry only local traffic. In most cases children can walk from their home to school without crossing a major street.There is a retail center in the middle of the Village (see the red) and one at the East side.
